Eight master breeder announced east of Toronto
Holstein Canada has announced this years Master Breeders, a total of 21 dairy farmers across Canada, including eight in Ontario east of Toronto. There are 12 Master Breeders this year across the province.
The list includes two master breeder shields in the same family: Allison and Jean Fawcett of Winchester and their son, David. They live on the same farm and the cows are all in one barn with two prefixes.
In Ontario, east of Toronto, the other master breeders, who earn this distinction for producing large amounts of quality milk over time, are:

Lloyd and Barbara Wicks, of Bobcaygeon
