The newly formed Grain Farmers of Ontario, representing more than 28,000 corn, soybean and wheat growers has elected its first 15 directors.

Here are the new directors in the three districts east of Toronto:

District 14 (From Winchester at Hwy 31 to the Quebec border): Arden Schneckenberger, of Morrisburg.

District 13 (Hwy 31 at Winchester west to Belleville): Don Kenny, of Stittsville.

District 12 (Belleville to Toronto): Joe Hickson, of Lindsay.

Districts elected eight delegates (some districts were allotted more) who voted among themselves for a director.

Feisty John Vanderspank, of Lanark County, who asks tough questions and was expelled by his wheat board last year, was elected as a delegate in District 13.
