In two separate accidents near Stratford, in western Ontario, last month, two men were killed while repairing equipment.

A 40-year-old Milverton man was killed April 19 after he was crushed under a cultivator. Russell Kuepfer was using a hydraulic jack to raise the cultivator when it gave way, pinning him underneath.

The next day, near St. Marys, southwest of Stratford, 44-year-old Glen Mills was killed as he was standing on a ladder inside a liquid manure pit. He slipped and fell in.
