
Tractor rollover kills Perth man
PERTH — Bill McIntosh of Lanark County, southwest of Ottawa, was killed Wednesday, September 17, when the tractor he was driving rolled into a ditch.
Police say that McIntosh, 60, was on his way to pick up a final load of wood when the tractor left the roadway.
The accident occurred at about 2:45 p.m. on the 2nd Concession Dalhousie, north of Watson’s Corners, north of Perth.
Tractor rollovers are the most common type of farm fatality. Victims of tractor rollovers are most often older males.
