4th annual photo contest rules

1. Deadline: Thursday, February 21, 2008
E-mail photos to farmfor@magma.ca by Thursday Feb. 21.
By mail: Postmarked no later than Friday, February 15, 2008

2. Photo theme: people on the farm
This year Farmers Forum will choose the top 10 photos based on the theme of people on the farm.

3. How many photos can I submit? Up to 10 per person

4. How do I get my photos back?
If you mail in photos and you want them back, submit photos with an enclosed self-addressed stamped envelope.

5. How large can photos be?
E-mailed photos must be .jpeg or .tiff files no larger than 8" x 10" or 10" x 8" and resolution must be at least 170 dpi.
Mailed in photos should be no larger than 8" x10" or 10" x 8".

6. Please enclose your phone number and mailing address with your submission.

7. Who is eligible for the contest?
Anyone who is not an employee or a member of the immediate family of an employee of Farmers Forum or of any news media organization.

8. Hey! What do I win if I win?
Fabulous prizes. A $100 gift basket goes to the photographer of the winning photo. The top 10 photos will be published in Farmers Forum newspaper and on this website.

9. Can I submit a photo that was submitted in a previous year?
Yes, as long as that photo was not chosen among top 10 photos.

10. Can I send in a photo of my crazy Aunt Jane skinny dipping in the St. Lawrence River?
Please don't.
