Notice that 12 of the 15 highest producing herds in the province are east of Toronto.
Breed Class Average (BCA) is an index that measure milk, fat and protein production. The index was created in the 50s with 100 representing the average in a breed. You will notice that some of the herds listed below have indexes more than three times the average in the 50s.
